Scott
Schepps is an attorney and shareholder with
Fizer Beck, practicing primarily in the
estate planning, taxation and probate law
areas. Scott is Board Certified in Estate
Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board
of Legal Specialization.
Scott is
a member of the Sections on Taxation and
Real Property, Probate and Trust Law of
the American Bar Association and the Houston
Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker
at professional meetings and conferences.
During 2002, Scott hosted an estate planning
call-in radio show on 700 AM.
Scott is
the Committee Chair of the Charities Program
of the HP Houston marathon. He also volunteers
his time and expertise for the Eating Disorders
Association of Houston.
Scott received
a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University
of Texas at Austin in 1989 and his J.D.
from the University of Houston in 1992.
Scott worked through 1997 for Ernst and
Young in the Personal Financial Counseling
Group, focusing on estate and income tax
planning for high net worth individuals
and closely held business owners. He joined
Fizer Beck in 1998.
